Samsung Galaxy Note 5 (SM-N920T) T-Mobile Latest Firmware N920TUVS5ERD1 Android Nougat 7.0 Flashing Guide and Download

Samsung recently released the latest firmware N920TUVS5ERD1 for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 T-Mobile (SM-N920T) based on Android Nougat 7.0. Note 5 was released back in 2015 and getting Nougat on a 3-year-old device will really improve your device performance. You can either wait for the OTA update to reach your Galaxy Note 5 from your carrier or download the latest official firmware from below and flash it manually.

Samsung releases the new updates to make the devices run smoother and handle the latest risks confidently. So, it is a wise decision to always make sure your device is up to date with the latest firmware. You can use the links below to download the Official Firmware N920TUVS5ERD1 for Samsung Galaxy Note 5 (SM-N920T) T-Mobile. This will update your device to the latest Android version Nougat 7.0 released officially.

Keep in mind this firmware is specifically for Note 5 on T-Mobile carrier with model number SM-N920T. Make sure you check your device for your model number before updating. As the firmware is device specific it will not work on other devices. If you do use it for any other device the device can break and get bricked which will be very hard to recover.

Samsung Smart Switch is our choice for updates for Samsung devices as it is the official tool recommended by Samsung itself. However, Samsung Smart Switch can only work if the update has been pushed to the devices or else the only option left is using Odin. Odin is the tool that will help you flash the official firmware manually on your device.

Before you go ahead with any update you must backup your data and make sure everything that you need is stored in a safe place. Updates can erase the device memory and delete everything that was once on the device. The best and easiest way to backup a device is to use the Samsung Smart Switch. It can automatically detect your device and you can choose the backup to store the data on the tool. Next time when you connect your device after the update, if you wish to restore the old data you can do it in the tool itself.

Note: Flashing is only recommended if you know what you are doing. We take no responsibility if your device behaves improperly. Firmwares are device specific and will not work with other devices. If you are not sure about Flashing, it is better to wait for official OTA updates.
